2024 C.I.T. Program

Ages 13,14 and 15

Are you the next great Camp Counselor!? Probably. You seem pretty cool so far.

Come and find out if you have what it takes.

The CIT (Counselor-In-Training) program is a volunteer opportunity for ages 13-15 to assist the counselors at one of the various parks and camps staffed by Bev Rec. CITs help run the park/camp day with the counselors. This includes starting and playing games, doing arts and crafts, and attending special event days at Lynch Park.

The CIT program offers an awesome experience for you to learn the skills that we look for in the counselors. You will be guided through this leadership position with the help of the BevRec CIT Director, the counselors and other CITs. CITs are expected to attend weekly meetings to discuss how to best go about problem-solving and learning new games to share with your park.

We expect that you will attend your park or camp everyday, communicate with your team, and create a positive environment for the kids. We encourage applicants who love to be active, bring a positive attitude every day, and can show responsibility in a leadership position. Come join the team and help us make this the best summer ever!
