Join La Messy Baker for a Cinco de Mayo Cookie Decorating Class full of color, sugar, and a whole lot of fun. You’ll decorate 6 festive cookies using 4 vibrant icing colors, learn baking tips, decorating tricks, and have fun along the way. Each guest will also receive a fully decorated La Messy Baker cookie as a sweet little gift from me, plus a to-go box to safely take your cookie creations home
No experience needed…just come with a smile on your face ready to create beautiful and delicious cookies!
What’s Included: We provide everything you will need! Everyone will be set up with cookies, icing, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate! You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class!
Instructor Bio: Lauren Messinger is the Chief Baking Officer of La Messy Baker. A lifelong baking enthusiast, Lauren turned her passion into a business in 2020 with the launch of La Messy Baker, a licensed residential kitchen based in Beverly. She specializes in creating beautiful and delicious custom-decorated sugar cookies for every occasion.
What began at her kitchen counter has grown into a joyful space for creativity, connection, and plenty of butter. Lauren lives in Beverly Farms with her husband and two daughters. When she’s not busy baking (and making a mess) in the kitchen, she enjoys early morning beach walks, giggles with her girls, and an endless cup of coffee.
