BEGINNER CROCHET
Instructor: Phyllis Vray. Crochet projects work up fast and are very portable! In this class you will learn how to use a crochet hook and yarn to make beautiful wearable and utilitarian items. Turn basic stitches into a scarf and a hat, baby blanket or afghan. For students aged 16+. $15 materials fee includes a crochet hook, yarn and book.

BEGINNING YOUR GARDEN
Instructor: Betsy Williams. Learn where to put your garden, how to prepare the soil, whether to buy seeds or plants and when to plant. Know the difference between annuals, biennials and perennials and how to grow them. Lecture-style class will cover feeding, watering and general garden care. $8 materials fee covers all handouts.

DESIGNING POTS & WINDOW BOXES
Instructor: Betsy Williams. Learn how to plant and tend containers, which plants are best suited for them and how to design for shade and sun. Plant a 14" or 18" container suitable for a sunny location with herbs, annuals and perennials. Bring an apron and floral scissors. $44 materials fee covers plants, containers, soil and handouts.

KNIT 1, PURL 2: THE BASICS OF KNITTING
Instructor: Freddi Pare. Class is for beginners, but all are welcome! Learn to cast on, cast off, knit stitch and purl stitch. Learn the basics and be able to work on your own! Work on hats, scarves and blankets. Bring 2-4 skeins of yarn, two pairs of straight needles (size 7 and/or 8) and 16" circular needles.

DO IT YOURSELF! - PICTURE FRAMING WORKSHOP
Instructor: Larry Glickman. You don't need to be a professional artist to learn how to mat and frame your own artwork and treasured photographs. Basic techniques, color theory, wood and metal frame assembly, along with creative mat cutting will be explored. Framing and matting materials available, discounted up to 50%, depending on size.

SPRING TABLE GARDEN
Instructor: Betsy Williams. Fill a basket with flowering spring plants, lacy ferns, trailing ivies and green moss. When summer arrives, plant the bulbs in the garden and transplant the rest to a damp shady spot. Bring floral scissors and an apron to class. $44 materials fee collected in class covers all plants, container and materials.

TAKE THE NEXT STITCH! INTERMEDIATE KNITTING
Instructor: Freddie Pare. Learn about different techniques, tools, read a pattern, knit with beads, change colors and knit cables. Knitters should have recent knitting knowledge (knit stitch, purl stitch, cast on and cast off). 5 classes. Bring two pairs of needles (size 7 and/or 8), 16" circular needles and 2-4 skeins of your favorite yarn.
