BEGINNING YOUR GARDEN Instructor: Betsy Williams In this lecture-style class, learn where to put your garden, how to prepare soil, buying seeds or plants and when to plant. Learn the difference between annuals, biennials and perennials. Class will also cover feeding, watering and general garden care. Materials fee of $6 collected in class covers all handouts.

KNIT 1, PURL 2: THE BASICS OF KNITTING Instructor: Freddi Pare For beginners, but all are welcome! Learn how to cast on, cast off, the knit stitch and purl stitch.
