SUMMER FLOWER ARRANGING WITH HERBS
Instructor: Betsy Williams
Fill a tall glass container with fragrant, colorful herbs, roses and other garden flowers. Learn when and how to cut garden
flowers, what herbs make great fillers and how to select cut flowers at the florist. Supplies and materials provided by the
instructor. Please bring flower scissors, an apron and $38 materials fee to class.
Betsy Williams has been in the business of growing, selling, decorating and teaching about working with herbs since 1970.
She is an experienced florist who uses her knowledge to create uniquely beautiful, fresh and dried floral pieces. She’s
authored several booklets on herbs.

LIVING HERB WREATH
Instructor: Betsy Williams
Plant a fragrant ring of basils, thymes, sages, prostrate rosemaries, parsley, mints and other culinary herbs. The wreath will
last all summer long and offer snipped flavor accents to family and friends. Finished wreath measures about 15" across and
sits in a clear plastic tray. Please bring an apron, floral scissors and $44 materials fee to class.

SAUCE & SALAD PATIO POT

You can grow your own fresh tomatoes, peppers and flavorful herbs in a pot on a sunny porch, deck, step or fire escape! The
requirements are minimal (sun, water, feeding) and the results are delicious. Plant basils, chives, rosemary, thyme, sage,
parsley, a sweet or hot pepper and a tomato. Please bring an apron, floral scissors and $42 materials fee to class.
