At this mysterious new event, each park and camp contributes their own secret ingredient to create a melting
pot of fun! The question is not, “What are we going to do?” it is, “What AREN’T we going to do?” Special guest
appearance, prizes and FUN for everyone!

OLYMPIMANIA!
Get ready to sprint, leap, throw and tumble your way to the gold in games like High Jump Splash and Athens
Obstacle Course. Join the fun as we turn Lynch Park into the Athens Olympica Stadium with this high-energy Special Event
where just joining the fun will earn you a Gold Medal. Staff will go head-to-head in the Instructor Decathalon!

LUAU
Aloha! What’s a summer without the Beverly Recreation Department’s big Hawaiian bash! Special Guests include
Kiki, Bobo and of course the Pretty Pineapple. Get low for a little limbo and try your skills at a pineapple toss
championship. Soak up the sun and enjoy the local island tunes. Get your fill of tropical fruit, but don’t eat too much
because the infamous mud pit is back!

BEVERLY PRIDE BONANZA!
Are you proud to be a Panther? Wear your best black and brightest orange for a day of celebrating the place
we call home, Beverly, Massachusetts! Come on down to Lynch Park for a day filled with athletic competition, sportsmanship
and Panther spirit! Ever wonder what it’s like to throw a ball around with a BHS Varsity Panther Player? Get psyched to
learn and play all kinds of sports, and get a taste of the rich Beverly athletics tradition.

LIP SYNC EXTRAVAGANZA
Lights! Camera! Lip Sync! Don’t miss the best show in Beverly! Come join the stage life where performances
by the parks and camps of Beverly show off their Lip Syncing skills. See what these camps and parks have worked on all
summer long. Don’t forget to check out the dazzling costumes and the hottest dance moves in Beverly! If you stay long
enough you might just get to see some counselors get their groove on!

CARNIVAL
So you want to see your counselor get dunked in a dunk tank? You’ve come to the right Special Event. Short
lines, fantastic prizes and tons of fun! Take a stroll down the midway and WIN! Test your luck and eat cotton candy. Get
your face painted and take a walk on the moon! A whole day of fun for about $6 per child!

WILD WILD WEST
Yippy-Yai-Yo, Yahoo! It’s time to take it back to the Wild, Wild West. Get out your cowboy hats and get
ready for some crazy western adventures! Come learn some country line dances and experience the Recreation Department in a
whole new honky tonk way. You won’t want to miss this round up!
AUGUST 14
CRANE BEACH
Sun, sand and time to finish off the summer on the beach! We are headed to Crane’s Beach for the day. Don’t
forget a LUNCH, bathing suit, towels, and of course SUNSCREEN! Swim with the counselors, play in the sand and catch some
waves. Grab a friend to make a sandcastle or even play some Frisbee! It’s the end of the summer beach party that will be
quite a splash!
