Speech & Press Conference by President William Howard Taft Thursday, May 6, Endicott College, 7:15pm Taft will make his appearance in support of renovation of The Carriage House at Lynch Park, the only building remaining from an era when the present day Lynch Park in Beverly Cove was the site of the summer White House for the Taft administration. Audience gets to submit questions for press conference. The President will also receive a key to the City from Beverly Mayor Bill Scanlon. He will take questions from journalists and inquiries selected from audience participants. Veteran WBZ broadcast reporter Carl Stevens, Salem News editor David Olsen and Beverly State Representative Mary Grant will be among those present to quiz our President.
